What do you think happened to the other ant-reg members the moment Cap was taken away? Do you think they all just stood around or immediately ran away?

not quiet what you asked but here is my guess

They will go underground and form a bigger rebellion and keep fighting crime but not registering.

Then when the next event is "world war hulk" (i think) They will end up helping the registered ones win and the government will see they were wrong and reverse the registration policy.

In doing so daredevil , captain America and others will be released and in doing that "the big changes" that that event will promise will be putting things back the way they were.

people will be stupid enough to think "ohhhhh this new" well in actual fact it's just the same thing from 2005 but enough time has passed for it to be all shiny and new.

just read the issue. *warning may contain spoilers but in a spoiler thread i think it's ok*

Me no like.

Ok there was some good qualities So I'll list what I liked

-Captain America fighting dirty. With these changes to captain America and ultimate version as well the last 2 years him and iron man have gone from me not liking or caring about to been very high up on characters i like.

- pissed off sue

- Iron man's ****ing the touch right in the face

- and obviously
black suit

- Also the comments made by mr fantastic to spider-man

Things I did not like

- the pace it was like boom here boom city boom end IMO could of filled 3-4 issues of that one issues stretched it out to make it good

- Robotic clone of thor's death. IMO he made such a big impact when he appeared I think the real thor should of come back and killed him him.

-
the public was ok with the negative zone? wouldn't they have pissed that they were doing as it was like in humane IMO too keep someone there even more so with the amount of time they are been kept there. it basically a bloody pound for superheroes

- the people jumped on Captain America in the middle of big war? Wasn't this war because humans were getting scared after what happened? So they are so scared they run in to the middle of war zone to hump captain America's leg? ...... ok then

after this all in all I give civil war 2 out 5 and that two is for from start to Robotic clone of Thor's appearance it got bad after that. Also they mentioned he was clone right? how is a clone also robot? clone = like scarlet spider. Robotic Thor was basically = the terminator or doom bot in a Viking hat.

I disliked it. Not because he fought dirty, but because he seemed to enjoy crippling Iron Man. Captain America is not a character, it seems to me, who actually enjoys kicking his best friend's ***.

There's not enough story to justify 3 issues of fighting. I don't think you want more issues - I think you want more story. I completely agree - the pace of #7 was "Boom here, boom city, boom end" and it was just bollocks. It was, "This page is Spidey fighting Mr Fantastic", "This page is Hercules fighting Thor", etc, and the story doesn't progress or change with those fights. Very little happens. I think, what you want, is more story, not more issues. Different things.

Clor was very anti-climactic. He showed up and killed a nobody (that really pissed of Black Panther - because he's black.... huh, imagine if Cap got pissed off someone was killed because he was white. I don't think so.), then got killed by another nobody (Hercules is cool, but lets face it - he's not the main character of the title). All in all, all Clor did was say "Reed and Tony are bad guys because they cloned Thor into a robot form and used him to kill heroes". I didn't like Clor at all.

Yes. It's almost as if the public did just what Millar needed them to do at any given moment. You know, provide the fuel for the story in 'public outcry' and then, all of a sudden, become strong heroes to provide a random deus ex machina 'ending'...

Not for me this title, not at all.

I agree. He seemed to be getting too into it which was a bit out of character.

The panel with Spider-Man vs. Mr. Fantastic was excellent. To me it was a showing that Peter's been around these "more confident" "leaders" of the superhero community the entire time and at that moment Reed comes to the realization just how amazing Spider-Man and his abilities are. If you compare it to Jenkin's spiel in The Sentry, it gives you goosebumps.

The "Clor" deal. I think Marvel had a hard on for clones recently and I hate clones. This clor character didn't have a sob sob story. I didn't want to relate to him. He accomplished exactly what he had too. Yeah, Reed and Tony were the bad guys because they took it too far and that's all Clor was meant to prove and I'm glad it didn't go beyond that. And Herclues handing him his *** as opposed to anyone else was very fitting to me. We're talking about a God/machine mix vs. raw God power. It might have come off as a one sided victory on the pages but how else would it go? If Thor stepped in against some other hero, it would've been ugly.

Again, I liked the entire issue up until the fight had ended. So I can't complain about all of this stuff.

I think Deus Ex Machina is a term that is tossed around too loosely these days but I have to agree. When the public jumped in is the exact moment the issue went to ****. It was a poor way to resolve the overall conflict.

And there was no Thor...i was expecting an 11th hour appearance...a la ultimates 2 12...well he's coming back soon right?...just in time to beat down the hulk again

I voted a 3, because even though it was incredibly stupid, it had awesome art and a few excellent scenes, and was quite entertaining.

2 out of 5 for me and like I said in a previous post if it wasn't for the first half give or take an issue. Been very good IMO and it had all been like the second half it would be lucky to get a 0.5 and that .5 would be for the art.

I voted 3/5 because it was okay but the concept of Hero vs Hero is flawed from the beginning It should of been more of a heroes vs the government. They tried to hard to make it and extreme situation and felt like it was bigger than it should have been

Being a huge fan of mythology in general and a huge fan of Thor specifically, the scene of Hercules flattening Clor's head was the best scene in #7. Loved it! All in all, Civil War with all its tie-ins was ok, but the ending was definitely weak. Cap wouldn't surrender, it's as simple as that.

Between DC and Marvel and all the events, I am definitely "evented out". It be nice to have at least six months to catch my breath (as well as my wallet) and read an issue without feeling I have to read umpteen other titles to figure out what's going on.

Civil War in toto= 3 stars (good, but crappy ending)
