In all seriousness, calling it England would be like calling the US California (sort of). England is just a part of Great Britain, just like wales, Scotland and northern Ireland. You can however call it the United Kingdom.

That's why I never hang up or use the British flag only the english flag. Yes all of the are called United Kingdom/Great Britain but still diffrent countries. Like south america has stuff like Brazil which is a diffrent country , I'm sure people from there would get mad if I called them American not Brazilian

Well, partly wrong anyway. England is a constituent country which means that it is part of a greater union that is ruled by the same political system and Minister/King or whoever it might be. But my original comment was about the whole of the UK so I corrected the response to reflect that.
