Bendis: "I smell an Ultimate Deadpool comin’"

I've been speculating this from the beginning... There's not really a reason to have him show up, so why take the time to really flesh him out?

You may think there's no reason, but maybe Bendis has a good one. Again, you never know... :wink:
 
Well, when do we really know anything, Ice? You're not being very fair... ;)

Also, does DP have a history with SS in 616?

How am I not being fair? Im just saying that people may think that theres no reason now, but that there *might* be one, good or bad, later on. So I dont really get why you say that.
 
But getting on topic, GW, I do understand why you say about reason and DP, and I totally think the samething myself, but I dont worry about until we have something to go on. than thats when the worrying begins. Hopefully we get something at WWTC since Bendis is gonna be there.

Yeah they do have history, he tried to kill her in issue 23 of Silver Sable, luckily Daredevil came to the rescue.....They then met again in heroes for hire 10 and 11, but this time DP was apart of Heroes for Hire, taking on the Wild Pack i think thats there name, Well they didnt really fight but they fought around each other I guess, DP was having too much trouble with Madcap.
 
So I guess this could be the potential Heroes for Hire arc? It sounds interesting enough, but couldn't it be done in the Warriors arc?

Your probably right there.....or we might get surprised and he starts of as a hero and you know the rest, cancer sends him mad and he becomes a villain....you never know.....
 
It's possible he's just a for-hire kind of guy, too. I mean, who's to say that that kind of character is really good or bad, right? I think that would satisfy the Deadpool fans, too, although may just be too Elektra for me. :) We'll see.
 
I'd far rather Vaughan do Ult Deadpool.
And will he have a teleporter? If he does, then he must have some connection to the FF right? I mean, if anyone can build a handheld teleporter it's gonna be them.
 
What if hes a hero costume an all,maybe a special assassin for the goverment, he lives the high live, big apartment, girls, cars, hes living the live of a movie star, when he gets cancer, the time starts ticking till his death, the goverment break ties with him, and so he graves thislive style, all the while hes slowly going mad, (maybe place the cancer in a tumour in his brain), he starts taking jobs for money, so he can still keep the girls, the more he takes these jobsthe more he believe the people hes killing are not being killed because hes evil, they are being killed cause this fate and the way of things, the same way he comes to terms with his illness and how it is fate for him to die soon....this makes him a sort of anti-hero, and gives Spider-man a little compasion for him, rather than takinghim out like a villain, he might want to try and change his path....plus Spider-man knows about Death with his Uncle Ben, and he doesnt abuse his powers, so it could also be a story that relatesto Peter Parker, he could almost see Deadpool as what he might become if he doesnt stop being sooo emotional all the time.....i know my explanation is a bit jumbled but tell me what you think??
