Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

Metropolis does to be New York City. Maybe it's like the GTA Universe where both New York and Liberty City co-exist, or if they're interchangable names, or they're just extremely close to one another. I would generally say yes though, Metropolis is New York City. Barney Miller probably occurs in Metropolis in this continuity.

According to the Artbook of Superman Returns Metropolis is still in New York but the geographical area is actually Northern New Jersey

The movie came out in 1985 and is probably set in its year of release so the Goonies that appeared in Superman 78 are variants
Well, I think you could make the argument that this is them 6 years before The Goonies as 10 year olds I guess? It is, obviously, just a one panel easter egg/gag so we don't need to overthink it anyway. It's pretty fun to think about though. Reminds me of all the cool cameos in Batman '66. There's a George Reeves Superman variant in Earth-66.

Yeah, I meant it doesn't exist in real life. The city doesn't use any real life architecture so it's impossible to know, unlike Metropolis.
Maybe it's Boston? It's a very old looking city and Boston is known for its historical landmarks

This is just for fun, but if you take those cameos as anything more, look at this silliness, XD. Let's ignore the Joys! 1976 film that connects with Barney Miller, it's probably not meant to be taken seriously. I mean, I don't think the cameos in Superman '78 are supposed to be taken seriously, it's literally just a one panel gag, but regardless, this is just some BS I cooked up.

Yeah don't put non-DC stuff in this like the Transformers Movie timeline had Friday the 13th and other random stuff in it. Please.

If I won't include The Man From U.N.C.L.E. or The Avengers on the Earth-66 after a 12 issue crossover storyline (a much STRONGER connection), I'm not gonna add some random 70s sitcom because of a single panel. No way, lol. By that logic, I'd have to include the Scooby-Doo franchise as well. I don't think we're supposed to take it seriously.

If I took every crossover comic as canon, then we end up with Transformers G1 being canon to Wonder Woman (1975).

"Oh that guy that looks like Shaggy is actually Baggy. He's a meth addict Florida Man with a Leopard he stole from the zoo and no friends."

Sidenote: With how American politics is going, I really wish we had a real life Superman. :(

I don't have too many problems with the current state of American politics.
