I feel the same way.
It may be because the character's going to be used in whatever JJ Abrams is putting out. DC/WB likely decided to remove him from LoT, but Matt Ryan is also likely still under contract, so... they have to use him in some way, shape or form.

Some duplication here.

The scene at (0:09:55 - 0:10:37) is most likely on February 2nd, 2000. The episode that Wells was watching first aired in October 1999, which contradicts "The Year 2000." However, it reran in February! (He could also have recorded either broadcast, or be watching a later rerun.)

A couple things here.

First, I'm disappointed but not surprised that the check says "06 05 2021." It has to still be 2020, so you've done the best with what they've given you. Doubly disappointing that it means disregarding Cisco's line about "9 AM on Saturday."

That same line means that episodes before this need to be moved back one day. "Family Matters" ends in the evening.

(If something contradictory comes up later, you could add a short gap between these two episodes. Cisco is vague about what can "wait 'till tomorrow." It's conceivable that "tomorrow" is when he answers Chip Cooper's text, but he waits a day or two more to tell Barry, Iris, and Caitlin. Kamilla's "I would've told you earlier" would support that, although she could easily be talking just about herself.)


I'm also disappointed by the Christmas lights on Supergirl. I was hoping that there would be some reason why she's barely mentioned in S&L.

I don't know.
My brother in law is super sick at the moment.

It could be days, it could be weeks. Least of my concerns right now.
