Arrow show on CW (Spoilers)

He needs to go away. He's not interesting and he's really boring. I finished season two by the way so now I'm where you guys are.

Thought that was obvious. His name was the magician in the comics.

I don't read much DC so I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to their second and third tier characters.

That means most will probably find him interesting. I thought he was a good villain and an interesting antagonist for Oliver.

His family is/was interesting and compelling. He was a pretty one note "Dark The Hood" for me.

Can someone explain to me why they're using so much of the Batman mythos on Green Arrow? The whole show feels like they wanted to make a Batman show but was told they weren't allowed.

Soloman Grundy was originally a Batman villain.

I didn't watch the second half od the second season, so I don't know what else could be derived from Batman.

I've seen someone compare the show to Batman where Oliver = Batman, Diggle = Alfred, Felicity = Oracle, Roy = Robin, his HQ = the Batcave... I think there were other connections maybe, but that's what I remember the person saying.

To be fair those comparisons could be made for a lot of superheroes. Many have sidekicks (which Diggle is more of, the comparison to Alfred isn't that valid since Diggle is his bodyguard and driver, and one of his sidekicks... Alfred is a butler and driver), hideouts, etc.

Yeah, I agree. Just Wyokid mentioning the Bat-mythos thing reminded me of that.

I agree that the whole show has a very 'Batman' feel to it (except for the CW drama crap). It's about a rich guy who becomes a brooding urban vigilante in the shadows.

Don't forget Detective Lance and Commissioner Gordon.
