X-Men Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Revised & Original)

I have the headcanon that they were descontinued and kept deactived, after Bolivar Trask's death, without government support. Trask Industries kept Mystique's DNA safe after torturing and experimenting on her. After The Last Stand, things started to get complicated and then the idea of using Sentinels came up again, so they started working again with Mystique's DNA that Trask Industries already have, after they have her in their custody, and later with Rogue's DNA too.

A sentinel-like robot appears in danger room simulation in X3, Because both Hank and Charles knew about Sentinels in 70s, so he create a simulation with him to danger room to training X-Men.

I know about the games, but I think the movies ignore the events of the games.
That's kinda what The Gifted was alluding to, but the July 15th 2013 event in that is what made Trask Industries start-up shop again and go full police-state via Sentinel Services.

In the main Earth-10005 timeline, however, they didn't go public with the Sentinel program (at least not in the same circumstances) and just stayed in the background.

In main timeline, in 1973, the Sentinels went to reveal to the public, with President Nixon welcomes them, etc, but I think shortly, Nixon had changed of mind and gave up the Sentinels, thought it's too dangerous, they discontinued the project, until they decide to use again after The Last Stand until 2023. That's why they don't show up in original trilogy.

That was my guess is that when first introduced, plans didn't go forward, the public eventually forgot in the following decades, and it only became public again for the reasons given in 25 Moments.

Guys, I have a explanation about have teen and children in 2023, in DOFP's ending. In Logan, it is stated that no new mutants have been born in North America for 25 years, since 2004, what if the teen and children mutants are not americans, the school accept any student from around the world, like Colossus, for example. They could from countries that speak english too.

What do you think? Make sense?

How did Apocalypse awaken in Revised Timeline?: Because Moira McTaggart removed the rug, letting sunlight, powered the pyramid that brought Apocalypse back. The Cult of Apocalypse didn't know the sunlight was needed to powered the pyramid, so they kept the rug over the entrance, pretty much all the time, to hide it. The Cult of Apocalypse didn't exist in Original Timeline, so they didn't try to awaken him, that's why he never awake in Original Timeline.

I think his cult members knew about his hiding place, and they were unable to reach him.

Also I saw in Reddit, that someone had a headcanon that Moira from The Last Stand is actually her niece, that she have a brother that name his daughter after her, maybe she died in duty as CIA agent, it's in the comments. So based in this headcanon, Moira's niece become a medical scientist and doctor, later met Professor X and become a friend.

So when it is said that no mutants have been born in 25 years in Logan, it actually means that almost no mutants are born, very few are born, not that there have been no more mutants born since 2004. Like, ''there haven't been (practically) any mutants born for 25 years''.

I actually like this headcanon, explains/fix Moira being younger and have a different job in The Last Stand, but it's just my opinion.

Also, I think Jubilee from Apocalypse is the mother of Jubilee of original trilogy, the daughter get the same nickname of her mother. Jubilee in Apocalypse is only credit as ''Jubilee'', the one of original trilogy is credited with her civilian name ''Jubilation Lee''.
