X-Men Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Revised & Original)

I think there's a TV early in X2 that has something like a ??/??/2014 (yes, 14) on it, but I don't know if that was a date or not. Probably not.

I cant double check on Disney+ because I am broke and my subscription payment was declined, however.
 
When Bobby's younger brother calls the cops on him and Logan, the camera pans into his room and there is a poster for an obscure IRL band from the late-90s/early-2000s called Operation Makeout - with the date "Saturday, June 1st".

That is compatable with 2002.

Based on this, the fact I have seen similar posters in Superman & Lois in the sons' rooms that stuck around after a year, the short amount of time that has to occur between now and The Last Stand - lets go with 2003.

I always thought that it seems far too long since the last film. It would then mean the "events" of Origins now happened in 1991, going off of the "15 years" lines. I've always been in the belief that X-Men: Origins - Wolverine didn't actually happen as we saw it but it's how Logan believes it happened. Hence Scott, Charles, Emma Frost (it's Silverfox but that a retcon), Quicksilver, Psylocke all appearing in ways that seem to contradict.

1994 would work because the Twin Towers are still standing in X1. However we know for a fact that X3 is 2006 and the ages for the characters wouldn't line up otherwise. They double down and say 15 years since Weapon X in X2 as well. Was it officially confirmed that Origins is 1979. I know that it seemingly adapts the Three Mile Island Crisis but was that officially dubbed anywhere?
 
I always assumed that, for reconciliation purposes, Wolverine was recaptured after X-Men Origins: Wolverine and that's when the flashbacks from X2 happen. A second adamantium coating for the bullet hold in his skull, hence why it doesn't appear on the x-ray in the first film. Days of Future Past has flashbacks to both XMOW and X2's flashbacks.
