I dread the thought of the amount of time someone would have to waste going down the Tommy Westphall continuity/universe rabbit hole.

I never thought about this theory. There are indeed characters from the X-Files spin-offs in other series. Byers, Frohike and Langly, aka The Lone Gunmen

**English:** Why did they do a crossover?
yup! The Long Gunmen have their origins in a flashback episode in season 5 of The X-Files. While the real series finale of The Long Gunmen is in an episode of The X-Files season 9.

Millennium is similar, as they are done by the same people from X-Files, and also the real series finale of Millennium is in an episode of The X-Files season 7.

My CBS Timeline is right on that edge...

Also, good luck with this timeline, @Megatron. I started to do it but the first season jumping around everywhere with episodes placed completely out of order made me want to scream.

They are actually canon and set in an alternate timeline before the actual S10 occurs following it.

2. **Spin-off "The Lone Gunmen" (2001)**: Although related to the X-Files universe, this spin-off is often considered non-canonical².
That show is canon, wtf? Who the heck thinks it isn't?

3. **Video Games**: Some games like "The X-Files Game" (1998) are generally considered canonical, while others like "Resist or Serve" are not².
4. **Various Novels and Comics**: Most novels and comics based on X-Files are not considered canonical, except for a few approved by Chris Carter.
All officially licensed media is canon in any franchise unless contradicted by higher tier material.

about that i'll actually see if i can make them both still work. If not then they'll be treated as 2 separate timelines.

All officially licensed media is canon in any franchise unless contradicted by higher tier material.

TLG has always been canon to me and they directly reference the finale of that show in an episode of The X-Files.

It's not really a universe to me as much as a series of characters that exist in more than one universe. It really depends on how far you consider a crossover.

Yeah, I mean, you could link The Simpsons to the X-Files and, because of the Simpsons' reach, The X-Files technically shares a link to about 50 other shows.

C'est intéressant de pouvoir explorer à la fois une chronologie principale et une chronologie alternative. Merci pour toutes ces informations, car il existe de nombreux sujets sur les séries présentes dans la chronologie alternative.

as i said before for now I'll treat the season 10 and 11 comics and their TV Series season 10 and 11 as being set together on the SAME UNIVERSE.

I'll go on and set them in 2 different timeline if there is 0% of possibilities of both being connected. If there is even a 0,0000000001% chance to be set together in the same universe, i will do it!

For example this timeline put them together in the same universe:

While others like this one don't:

Since the X-Files wiki is a mess and the fandom is so confusing on this, i'll just see that for myself when i'll reach the post-season 9. So as for now consider them both being canon to one another. I'll make things more clearer in the Post-season 9.

I could. But i prefer to Stick only to the 3 shows. I don't wanna end up in an Asylum haha

My brain is too analytical. The CBS/NBC Timeline was finished after I got done with the Magnum, H50, and MacGyver reboots...then someone was like "the entire NCIS universe is connected to that universe like you stated in that one episode, so why don't you connect the whole thing together?"

I was baited and now I'm spending years doing all that. LOL

I might still count the one Simpsons episode but I would never take on The Simpsons or Law & Order. That would drive anyone mad.
