Wonder Woman

That's actually pretty simple. While she doesn't have much of a rogues gallery---the universe and mythology that she hails from is rich with potential villains.

My pitch is that Ares is growing tired of "peace talks within the nations" and starts plotting for a giant WWIII-like battle.

The Amazonian Queen sees that man's world is on the verge of destruction and in dire need of saving and sends her daughter Diana to help save it. She stops the nations from going to war and then finds out that it was Ares who orchestrated the whole thing and Wonder Woman has a big heavy battle with Ares (who cannot die---but is bested in battle).

I'm sure I could pound out a few more details if I had time.

Actually Ares is one her villans and would likely be the best choice for any future film.

So I guess your suggestion would be a better version of the WW JLU ep with Ares in it.

The fact that it was JLU notwithstanding, I thought Michael York was the best possible voice to play an animated Ares.

I mean, even though he doesn't LOOK it, his voice just reeks of perpetual arrogance... it's a perfect example of how ripping someone's voice away from his body completely changes your impression of the character he portrays.

I mean, Wonder Woman was made from clay, made to be a perfect woman... As long as they don't make all of the Amazons black, I wouldn't hate it?

Still... It's not a great idea.

As much as I would love to see Beyonce in a skimpy outfit for a whole movie, I think the Greek heritage is much more important to the overall mythos

"It's time for that, right?" ~ Beyonce on a black Wonder Woman

Since when did electing a black president mean it's "time" to drastically change the crucial Greek heritage of decades-established characters?!

Just because she's greek doesn't mean she can't be black and there are black amazons.

That doesn't mean ****; color is irrelevant at this point, the main point is Beyoncé is; too short, hardly the presence needed, and can't act her way out of a paper bag.

Honestly, aside from maybe Angelina Jolie, I can't see a single big name actress doing Diana right.

I wasn't defending Beyonce.

I really really hate McG's Charlie's Angels work, but I'm waiting till Terminator: Salvation as that may or may not force me to reevaluate my opinion of him.

Fans Of Bridget Regan (Legend Of The Seeker) have started a online petition to get her a screen test for the role of Wonder Woman.

"We feel that Bridget Regan has all the right qualities to give justice to the character of Wonder Woman. All we are asking is to at least give Bridget Regan a screen test to see if she fits the necessary requirements to fulfill the role of Wonder Woman."

I'm not familiar with her stuff, but she looks the part. She kind of reminds me of Lynda Carter at least:
