Webcomics.

Tis the season for The Illuminati to pelt Santa Claus with snowballs.

I reccomend Kid Radd.

http://www.kidradd.com/

It's a sort-of animated sprite comic about a game character from an old 80's game who gets pulled into the Internet during a ROM hack. It's one of those epic webcomics that's actually finished, and made me cry once or twice.

I love that Xavier calls Santa "Sir".

And was this actually published by Marvel or is it just internet jokery? If it was actually published by Marvel this would so be the kind of 90s-ish thing that we'll all be mocking in ten years as a sign of how horrible the comic book industry was in the noughties.

It was published by Marvel on their dot-comics page or whatever the heck it's called.

I actually think it's awesome and not laughable, though I do think part of that comes from the fact that current Marvel comics are terrible. I think the Holiday Specials are at their best when the comic writing is silly, which might explain why I didn't like the holiday specials between 2002-2005.

I suspect because when Marvel is being so overwrought, silly or self-serious, it allows the Holiday Specials to subject these things to ridicule far more easily.

I mean we're talking about a secret handshake committee in possession of reality altering jewels, put Santa in the picture and there's no way to go but crazy.

I'm the same way with christmas specials of things. That's one of the reasons I love kids cartoons or shows at christmas, E.g I'm one of the people who went out and bought Power Rangers Alpha's magical chrismas  It makes no ****ing sense but yet I love it in a its bad but good way.

Honestly I think christmas specials are good when they follow the "it's santa or is it?" way of doing it. By that i mean when they have santa on it but some think he's not santa then the ending leaves it up to you. Those were great and 90's tv had a lot. Now though they are normally just stories that happen to happen at christmas.

I also kinda wish Marvel or DC would release Christmas books at christmas. Like a TPB of just what if christmas stories that aren't really canon but are fun. E.g DC could do a Christmas Carol with Batman acting as Scrooge. Or Marvel do "It's a Wonderful Life" with Spider-man or something. They would be really fun and pretty cool to get each year.

****. I have that too.

Yeah, I mean who thought having an episode focus on Alpha was anywhere in the realm of a good idea?

 Not just that but because the achieved footage Tommy appears in both his green and white ranger costumes in the same episode that's meant to be in one day! No ****ing sense!
