USM question marks

Ok in UFF #7 page #4 it shows Reed, Sue, Ben, and Jonny getting sucked through the N-Zone but there is somebody else there. It looks like Man-Thing to me! I've seen Man-Thing in Ultimate Marvel Team Up but it didn't explain his story. Did he somehow get pulled through the N-Zone?:?
