Upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man arcs

I'd imagine those are the bulk of those villains.

Only they would know that. Oh, and one more thing they talked a little about alternate realities. And the possibility of a meeting of the 1610 Universe and the 616 Universe. they said it's not something they plan on doing, but they they said it's not a no. They said only if a really good story, and they thought it could really work. Maybe they'll go and do it.

What's 610? Are you talking about the Ultimate Universe meeting with someone?

The 1610 Universe is the Ultimate Universe. And they said if a really good story about Ultimate Universe (1610). Meet the Marvel Universe (616) They Might do it. If it really could work without messing things up.

NO! Can someone please post it? Did they mention the Ultimate FF Continuity issues?
NO!

And that's just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much typing. Asking it for scanned copies would be better.

There's a number designated for the Ultimate Universe? Where did this come from?

He probably meant for it to be scanned.

Go on, I'll never get to see this issue...

 me neither. Come on, i'll give whoever scans it (or types it :p) 520 points

They've given the UU an number? That's gonna **** everything up. All the extra-dimensional beings have to be the same as 616 now, thus ****ing up the whole point of being free from problems.

I wondered that myself. Stuart mentioned it in one of the handbook threads here.

It's in the Marvel Encyclopedia (forget which one- I think X-Men or FF) and it says, "Ultimate So and so, from Universe 1610, blah blah blah..." I think it was Doom in the FF one.

Now I'm confused. The Ultimate U is supposed to exist APART from the multiverse that comrpises the 616-verse.

It seems to me that Marvel is now trying to call the entire non-Ultimate publishing '616' which doesn't make sense since according to the handbooks, alternate timelines and realities have different numbers like Days of Future Past, et al.

So does a numerical designation apply to multiverse or does it apply to a state of reality within that said multiverse?

PS I still think House of M being in 616 is complete BS.

That's what we were told way back when by I can't remember who, but apparently according to Stuart that is not the case.

But I don't think just because they are both designated by numbers that means they are related in any way.

Are you sure someone said they're not in the same multiiverse, or did they say that they would never crossover.
Stuart also said that by having a number, the UU doesn't have to be in the same multiverse as 616 and I'm pretty sure 616 corresponds to the universe ourchair.

I don't know about the multiverse, but to my knowledge no one ever said definitively that they would never cross over.

Since then, Joe Quesada has reiterated his earlier claim that the two universes will not cross over as that would signify that Marvel had "officially run out of ideas".
I think that's definitively.

What were you refering to here, if not 616 and the UU being in different multiverses?

I would want to see a specific quote attributed to JQ.
