Universal Monsters - Viewing Order

Also:
The Mummy (1932)
The Mummy (1959)
The Mummy (1999)
The Mummy (2017)
The Mummy (2026)

How many series have that many instalments with the same name?
do not forget

The Mummy (2017) is followed by The Mummy (2026) directly with no Mummy films in-between. I think that's the stragest thing about this besides 5 installmenst having the exact same title

If we assume that the release dates are accurate to time passage between films, I think I have a better Scorpion King timeline. If we assume that Mathayus begins his 7 year war from The Mummy Returns soon after the 5th film, this is what we end up with.

3099 B.C. - The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior (Flashbacks) [Age 13]
3093 B.C. - The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior [Age 19]
3084 B.C. - The Scorpion King: Rise of the Akkadian [Age 28]
3083 B.C. - The Scorpion King #1, "The Akkadian Prophecy, Part One" [Age 29]
3083 B.C. - The Scorpion King #2, "The Akkadian Prophecy, Part Two" [Age 29]
3083 B.C. - The Scorpion King [Age 29]
3084 B.C. - The Scorpion King: Sword of Osiris [Age 30]
30?? B.C. - The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption [Age 3?]
3073 B.C. - The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption [Age 39]
3070 B.C. - The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power [Age 42]
3067 B.C. - Scorpion King: Book of Souls [Age 45]
3067 B.C. - The Mummy Returns (Flashbacks) [Age 45]
3060 B.C. - The Mummy Returns (Flashbacks) [Age 52]

I've recently watched them all, and... 1 is great obviously, 2 is really bad, and 3-5 are decent/enjoyable but nothing too spectacular.

Oh don't worry, there's more. They're working on a sixth film with the Rock producing set in the present day.

2 was bad? I thought it was okay... for a Direct-to-video prequel.
