It's set 9 years before The Mummy Returns so Alex can be aged up... you kinda just gotta ignore that. Maybe you can get away with it being 7.75 years, so The Mummy is early 1926 and The Mummy Returns is late 1933, perhaps.
 
also in the full media chronology here there is smt called "The Mummy Survives" but idk what that is.

Just a viewing order for now, though that'd be awesome to see. I'm trying to include even the obscure things in this, like the Sherlock Holmes films being included in a random Universal Monsters list at one point. Apparently the Universal Sherlock Holmes is ageless and immortal according to the opening text of the third film, which is set during WW2 but uses the same actors from the first two Fox-produced films set in 1889-1894.

I included Universal Monsters: Dracula #1-4 despite the fact it's an alternate take because Universal Monsters: Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives! #1-4 is a sequel to the original film and Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #1-4 is a sidestory set during the 1931 film. Since all the other comics are in-continuity, figures that the Dracula one should be taken as an alternate Dracula/Renfield/Van Helsing/Mina in the same world. Maybe.
 
I find it ironic that the same studio that made an official adaptation of Dracula now produced a remake of a ripoff of Dracula
 
It's at the very beginning of the film, and honestly I like the 1843 placement more because it would be more convoluted if both versions took place the same year
