Universal Monsters - Viewing Order

Technically the McCloud crossover episode could bring in that entire series, which is, by the way, loosely linked to Battlestar Galactica. I'm only listing said crossover episode for simplicity. Just noting that John Carradine did appear in that series as Dracula. In fact, he played Dracula playing John Carradine who plays Dracula.

There's dialogue stating that there's 10 years between Dracula (1958) and the present day of that film, yes. However, in Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, set one year after Dracula: Prince of Darkness, Gisela Heinz dies. Her coffin has the date 1885-1905, placing the film in 1905. Since it's written down and in clear view, I'm inclined to ignore the dialogue in favour of the on-screen date.

Technically Darkman is Universal Monsters. I guess Ash Williams did come out of a portal and disappear in the Evil Dead crossover, which may indicate he's from another universe. That's helpful.

Real question, but would I need to watch the entirety of McCloud first, or can it just be the Crossover episode?

You can watch just the episode. From memory there's nothing in it that should be confusing without watching previous episodes as it's more of an anthology series than a big plot across episodes.

I actually think that Adrian Griffin from The Invisible Man (2020) is part of the same Grffin family from Classic Monsters. He probably looked into his family history with the serum and made the suit as a more convenient method of becoming invisible. How fun that he's the CEO of Cobalt from Upgrade too.

Speaking of, only three Invisible Man tv shows need to be added and then everything is here... that we're aware of, at least.
