She could be star struck and more interested in the Spider-Man persona. But then, she is a superhero herself so there shouldn't be too much of that.

Right. Kitty should know that there's an actual person behind the mask better than any "non-super" girl who's just star-struck because of a picture on the newspaper and a movie. Because Kitty herself has the two sides, the public mutant girl and the "normal" teenage girl.

The letterer definitely made a mistake in this issue right? The part where Kong and Peter are talking, on the bottom left hand panel of the page, the bubbles should be coming from the opposite people right?
