If her crazy, hair-cat-monster-mutation-thing isn't permenant then Bendis =has just brouhgt another pointless story point to the table, only to have it erased 2 issues later. If it is permenant then it's stupid. Just a bad idea. Don't argue with me. I have a PHD.

Deadpool is my favorite character (notice my handle) so maybe I'm just a little biased, and while he doesn't have to stay exactly the same, he should at least resemble (or be based off of on some basis) his 616 character. The only similarity they had was the red costume.

Nothing wrong with a little bias with your fav character.

Doctor Octopus is my favorite Spidey villain. Which is why I'm holding off judgement on this metal control ability until I've read the explanation in issue #104.

If Bendis has made him a full blown Magneto the second, then I am dropping this book like a hot potato.

Plus he was Basicly acting like deathstroke(who Deadpool was orginaly a parody of)

Controlling the metal of his tentacles. If he could control all metal, then what would be the point in making tentacles??

Uh you did notice that alot of the metal taht was being thrown around where randaom ruble from the ruins of Oscorp. Plus he killed Tarantula with a plain all pipe.

althou i dont think he has magnetic powers...he just controls Metal

The last thing we need is for this thread to become another flame war. Although I do kind of miss way back before we had anyone who liked Bendis here...all we had to talk about was HOW MUCH Bendis sucked...Oh, the good old days.

As for everything else, I'll remain skeptically optimistic (Oxymoron...or the most revolutionary idea ever???) about Doc Ock. I kind of doubt that he'll end up being a full blown Magneto (and if he is then he'll lose the extra powers by the end of the arc...or sometime later...) and I really, really hope that they kill MJ. It's the only sensible thing to do at this point.

Yes, yes you have. I think that the only way for you to not have to face the repercussions of your actions is for you to immediately turn over a new leaf and start bashing Bendis with everyone else. Else, you never redeem yourself.

i don't hate keehar, i just find his unwavering optimism that this book will turn around, odd, he's actually alot like i was when i first joined

i just can't see how bendis can turn around Mj-goblin and dr. magentopus into something good

but different strokes for different folks sorry for the thread going off on a tangent
 
The MJ Goblin thing, in my mind, has been turned around... Kaine used Oz on her to protect her... It was certainly the wrong way to do so and, led to something that was very crippling for a strong character, but Reed Richards is going to correct it. And, what? I buy that. I think that's a good clean-up process... We're just going to treat that as a mistake on one of the Clone's part to give an example why cloning Peter Parker and allowing them to escape long enough to interfere in actual Peter's life was a bad idea... That part, I'm cool with.

I do not, however, like Ock in this arc. While I, too, have a negative attitude about this part... There is still hope. There's a double issue, the X-Men are coming along, who could explain Ock's new powers a little bit more thoroughly, I guess... So, we'll see. Things COULD still come around.

If you want to be all rational and stuff...then that's fine...but I still hate everything in this arc. Every pannel. Except the one with naked Gwen Stacy.
 
I'm just going by what I know so far... We don't know a whole lot about Gwen yet. That could be an interesting point... But I do doubt it.
 
Keehar, if I may go Off Topic for just one second, do you read Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man? If so, I'd love to hear your comments about it in its respective thread.
