I don't think the Tunguska thing would work. Colossus is a teenager, and the Tunguska mutants were made during the Cold War. If you add those years, it could very much make Mikhail old enough to be Colossus' dad.

Which is a viable Ultimization. Doesn't have to be his brother, or technically even related (though that surely adds to the drama).

Or, ya know, he doesn't have to have any relation at all (kind like Vaughn doesn't want Mystique and Nightcrawler related (although I think so)).

Yeah, definitely agree. They just have to change his last name to avoid confusion if he's not going to be related to Colossus at all. For me, the only way Mikhail could be related to Colossus is if he was a distant relative, or his grandfather.
