That's the problem I have with lands work. He seems to just copy 'model' poses and adjust them a little. And that image is a really bad adaptation of one of those gormless models that we're supposed to find attractive and so many men do because they like women to act like innocent little girls when in all reality they are hideous heartless beasts.E.Vi.L. said:as an aside, the slack jawed expression of Sue on that final panel is hilarious. And slightly pornographic. I'm pretty sure this is not what Land was shooting for, though. But I find the wide eyed expression of Johnny in that same panel much better. If that expression had been at the forefront and sue's in the background, it would have been a better panel.
Far prefer Immonen and Lee for the artwork.thee great one said:A good ending to a good arc. Beauitful artwork. I like Sue's smartass mouth. The zombie marvel universe rocks.

DIrishB said:Not I, just not a fan of his art. Its too...convoluted? Its just often hard to digest, and often doesn't do a good job of illustrating the action of the story itself, least in my opinion. His art just makes the story often hard to follow in my opinion.
My problem with Land is that his art is fine and dandy in illustrating the spectacular aspects of the story: zombies, explosions, stretching and such... but his character work suffers from the stiff facial posing.DIrishB said:Not I, just not a fan of his art.
