Ultimate Central: The Flash Cartoon

OH. MY. GOD.

I finally watched it and I'm astounded. It was ****ing incredible.

Random, you did an unbelievable job, and so did everyone who contributed voices.

Now I feel guilty that I didn't do my voice. I'm gonna have to get a mic so I can be in the sequel. And I'm with DSF: I'd really want to help with some of the writing.

It's true. I kept on thinking, "is Bass doing the voices in his scenes? Cuz if so, that's crazy". Bass was excellent (And that's not just my natural BassLuv speaking).
 
I think for the next one, we should do a big group writing collaboration.

We'll never agree on anything.

Even still---Random said that it was like the most grueling thing he's worked on. So don't expect a new anytime soon.

Well it wasnt the worst, I once had to re animate the same scene three times cause it kept getting delelted. Overall it wasnt that bad just a lot of work
 
Personally, one person should write in my opinion.

Maybe everyone else give them ideas and they see if they can fit it in.

But only one person should handle the reins
 
Know what I'd like to see? The entire UC: Stuck story animated. It's already written, enough people have forgotten/not finished it that it's all fresh, and on the whole it would just be great. It could be done in episode format the same way Houde wrote it.

Who wouldn't love to see that? I'm sure more people, myself included, would be happy to help with voices and stuff.

Next time around, I want the movie to actually end with a giant musical number with everyone singing.

Hmm..And I wonder who that one person should be?...
 
Why dont you guys do like the TV series?
Two or three guys write the episode than one writer puts the scenes together, maybe changing some dialogues or some actions to make sure that the final product is like a big story and not several scenes throwed together.
 
OK, so I'm late to the party. But I finally saw UC: The Cartoon.

BRILLIANT. I was cracking up through the whole thing. Doc Comic was HILARIOUS.

Kudos to all involved. I wish I could have found my mic so I could have done my own lines.

Give me notice next time you do one of these - I'll go buy a mic if I have to.

Didn't you forget, "and to be fair, the same person shouldn't write the thing every time"? :p

I disagree though... a few writers could talk about the overall story, and running jokes, and then we split it up into shorter scenes and each write one of those, working together to make sure nothing contradicts something else, and then one of the writers can touch it up at the end to make sure that it all flows well.

I know. Here was my problem - in addition to being 7 months without a job, I have been spending most of my time remodeling our house hoping to sell it. Every room in the house has been gutted, painted, trimmed, and new doors hung. Accordingly, every room has been emptied of all contents, and said contents were stored in the basement. Consequently, I have a number of things, including several computer components including my mic, which are either lost forever, or hopelessly buried under stuff. I told Random a bunch of times - I have a mic, I just don't know where it is. I still don't.

And I felt like jerk because Random was cool about getting my lines to me and giving me time to try and get them recorded...I just couldn't get it done.

And worse yet, the other day I logged into one of my Hotmail accounts and found that Random sent me the lines he recorded for me for me to check out, but he sent them to an address I never use for anything, rarely check, and have no new message notification for. So I didn't even see them until after the movie was posted. Random - I wasn't blowing you off; I had no idea those were there.

So in the future I promise better cooperation. If I have to rent out a recording studio for my lines I'll do it.

Dude I've had so much worse experience with vioce actors than that, at least you had an actual reason. Really I dont care cause if worse came to worse I just do them myself. Not a big deal

Yeah but the amount of work you put into it compared to what you were asking me to do...as good as it was I wish I could have said I contributed.
