Thor 2: The Dark World pre-release discussion & speculation

Kind of weird since the characters aren't really related, but they've done a good job tying things together so far so no reason to think this wouldn't work.
 
Is Falcon in the cap sequel? I hadn't heard that. Also, Dr Strange could definitely work in a Thor movie if they're going more fantasy with it this time.
 
I hope the rumors of Dr. Strange being in this are false. As a long time Thor fan I just want this to be a good Thor sci-fi fantasy type movie without being dragged down by trying to introduce a new character for some other films down the road. I don't think it would do Dr. Strange as a character justice and I don't see how the characters intro could fit into this story without dramatically altering it. If it's just a brief cameo appearance ala Hawkeye in the first one, then fine. But anything more than that and I really feel like it will just detract from the story they are trying to tell in this movie.

I hope this doesn't suck! I do love the nod to Thor's origin story at the end with the giant rock alien thing.
