Fair enough... Like if you've seen the Godfather, but not parts two and three, definitely watch the Godfather again before seeing it... The same goes to other trilogies...
But if you've seen all the Indiana Jones movies or all of the Lord of the Rings movies, or all of the Pirates of the Carribean movies... I'd cut those from your list and replace them with things you haven't seen before. It's not so much when you have one movie in ten that you have never seen, but when you've seen a full trilogy, those spots could be easily given to other great movies.
If you like Noir, I'd also like to add the suggestion of "The Third Man". And I also recommend "Chinatown" and "Blade Runner" as the two best examples of Neo-Noir.
