Bass, I'm afraid you and I are going to be the only two who are going to like it.

I liked Cars. I just don't think it was quite as a good as Pixar's other stuff.

The "spy" angle surprised me, but this does look good.

Hey, Micheal Caine!

I can't believe you and I are the only people in the world who have souls.

I had this conversation last week, where I said that if any company other than Pixar had made CARS it would be the best movie that company had made. And with the exceptions of HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON (apparently, I've not seen it) and IRON GIANT, you know I'm right.

What's more, CARS came out in 2006. It's only competition for "awesome movie of that year" is CASINO ROYALE.

CARS is only anything less than wonderful if you compare it only to UP, THE INCREDIBLES, WALL•E, FINDING NEMO, MONSTERS INC, and RATATOUILLE, which is kinda like saying IN THE VALLEY OF ELAH is 'okay' because you're only comparing it to SEVEN and CHINATOWN.

So I've been told. I will watch it, but I'll wait for it to be on sale. It only just came out, and I have something like 80 dvds in my pile of cheap dvds to watch. :?

Finally saw Toy Story 3.

Very good, although the endless exclamations of "You haven't seen it?! OMIGOD I cried my eyes out!!" in the months between its theatrical release and my finally seeing it certainly jaded any emotion I was going to have while watching it.

I saw the Toy Story one at Disneyland. I stood there staring at it for at least 10 minutes. It was amazing.
