Steve Carell to leave after Season 7?

I think this is a good idea. It's gone on long enough and I think given an end date, the writers could create a classic final season.

I hate to think of the show ending but I can't imagine it without him.

What does everyone think about this season (is it 9?) in general? I like Andy in Michael's old role but the episodes have been very hit and miss. I'm still not sure if I like Robert California.

Season 8. Yeah, this season has been the weakest of the series. Robert's brand of humor doesn't fit into the show. The show has become a little better but not by much. Heck, I think the lady 3 episodes haven't taken place within the office for more than 2 minutes.
