As much as I'd love for it to be exactly what everyone's hoping it will be, I'm going to bet that it's probably just a boxset or something.

Unfortunately that's exactly what it is, and a ridiculous one at that. The guy working on it claims he doesn't want to touch the masters so it's not even remastered - there are no additional live tracks (except for a live concert DVD - yawn) and the set is $175 - $450 for the limited edition with vinyl of each album.

Sad. I love the Pixies, but I don't love them that much.

anybody ever heard of a theremin? It's a wierd instrument but i've seen some pretty cool things done with it. zelda song, some gnarles barkley. Gives a whole new meaning to air guitar.

EDIT: Like so...

Discuss.

Best Penny Arcade I've seen in ages.

I'm frustrated they haven't done a Piano Hero yet. Not necessarily a "Hero", but just basically the exact same game with a full keyboard, or possibly some sort of electronic mat you roll over your own piano/keyboard. It would be great because it would actually teach you to play the piano.

I imagine it's because it'd be a hell of a lot of input triggers, let alone having to react to them in time. Though a Piano Hero: Elton John ott Piano Hero: Billy Joel would be pretty cool.

Piano Heo: Warren Zevon :drooling:

If I had a lot of disposable income, I'd totally buy one of these.

They're supposed to very hard to master though.

So I just did a tour through a Best of The Allman Brothers Band CD I found at a gas station as I was driving home from a town over at 4 in the morning.

Just ****ing Brilliant.

Coincidentally 2 Allman songs are going up on Rock Band next week (Midnight Rider and Blue Sky), I'm stoked for them.

If you have any sort of taste for classic southern rock they are a huge must for your music library.

"Ain't Wastin' Time No More" and "Whipping Post" are 2 of my favorite songs.

Proj, I'm pretty peeved. Giacchino's "Up" score is only going to be out as a digital download. Why? I don't know, but there are no plans for a CD as of yet. Ucch. How do you personally get his music? Through iTunes? I would totally do that, but I love having an actual CD, because my computer speakers are crap and we have an awesome Bose CD player at home. I really want to hear the score right after I see the movie, but I don't know if I should just get on iTunes or wait -- however long -- to see if a CD will come out.
Urgh.
