The John Byrne Thread

John Byrne is a good example of why not everyone should be allowed the internet and free speech.

I can't buy any of the guy's work and read it anymore. Talented at his craft he may be, but so obnoxious he is as a person (at least, that person as perceived through the internet) that I can't remove my distaste from the man to enjoy his work.

Obnoxious man.

I don't even think he's especially talented. Which is what makes this all the funnier.

I find it hilarious that Bryan Hitch was being so nice and curteous and then Byrne would come in and start attacking, misconstruing innocent comments and making sarcastic remarks about them.

It's like when Byrne was talking about how Morrison carelessly ruins classic characters and has no regard for the past, when Morrison LOVES old books and has such respect and love for the characters that he's written entire stories about why writers should never write them dishonestly (Animal Man...). He probably loves Byrne's work.

John Bryne reminds me of why I hate everyone.

He sort of reminds me of a toned-down Anne Coulter.
