Well thank God. His fever has been stabalized, and although his legs are still infected, the new anti-biotics the doctors gave him are helping much better.

This happened to my dad a few years back. Big worry about him being paralyzed. A guy called Matthew Tracey helped him out by teaching him tai chi and giving him acupuncture. If you can find a good one, someone who really knows what they're doing, I can't recommend it enough. (But it's more likely you'll find someone who's a bit ****.)
