Okay I was talking with a friend of mine today about the next consoles. I had an idea but I thought i'd put it to everyone here.
Seen those dvd players like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DAVX1V...4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1261443925&sr=8-4 and cd players http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-CDP-CX...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1261443925&sr=8-1
Why can't get disc changing in games consoles? Take PS3 for example, let say they gave us 60 disc changer in it. You could use that space to store like say 20 games and 40 bluray movies or which ever combination you wanted.
See ps3 and 360 have that eject with control pad thing. It's pointless. Why? if you were walking over to console to get the disk you might as well just press the button when there.
So instead I think it'd be a great idea to say I wanted to switch from Borderlands to WWE smackdown vs raw 2010, just click change and then the one I wanted. Also anyone getting a console for kids to use too would never have to worry about them scratching discs instead they'd just switch to the game they wanted.
I know some stuff like 360 allows installs but that uses memory. This is more of a space saver, plus just a time saver. What do you think?
