The All About Comics Thread 5: Comic Books Ate My Paycheck

I've recently finished Strangers In Paradise vol.2 (which I thought was a big disappointment compared to the first volume) and Captain Britain (the Alan Moore run), and the latter's been an awesome amount of fun, I can't believe it's taken me so long to finally read it!

I just read the Final Crisis TPB and it didn't do much for me. So I read it again and it didn't do much for me. It did have it's moments like when Superman was forced to carve something on his gravestone. And when they talked about how it would be funny if Hamlet had reacted to his father's murder by becoming Batman.

Intriguing.

Typically, I purchase comics that interest me from flea markets and antique stores. While they may not be entirely famous or worth much, the experience is quite fun.

Recently I read Steel (1994) #30 & #32 I found in a bin at one of these stores, which led to my introduction of the character Blockbuster. Prior to that, in my search to locate all five issues of Robin(1991), I read #2, however I was already familiar with the story of this miniseries, leading to its immediate purchase the moment I spotted it.
