I finally finished the Bone One Volume Edition.
I don't have any idea if it includes the spin-offs DiB mentioned - a quick search didn't give a clear answer.
I liked it overall, but fatigue set in mid-way through and it became a chore to finish. I sat down and plowed through the last 300 or so pages and enjoyed the ending. I think that's just what it was - a 1300 page book is a pretty daunting task. When I was reading it I was mostly enjoying it, but it got to feeling like it would never end. I don't think it's so much that the story was too slow as it was just a LOT to get through.
Good book, though. I'd recommend it.
Now I need to figure out what my next reading project will be. I just finished re-reading Mark Waid's Fantastic Four and I think I might jump to the Millar/Hitch and Hickman runs.
