(Just to clarify, I didn't get the issues I mentioned above, I just noticed them because they're all really recent stuff that I myself read when it came out.)
1602 had a genius premise and brilliantly reimagined characters, but the actual nuts and bolts of the story were not as incredible. It's still a very enjoyable story, but I don't think it turned out to be as enjoyable or memorable as the premise and the characters could've allowed it to be.

Ending was great though.
