There's the A-Team movie I want to see!
Are you a Brian Regan fan?
We are going to have a fairly interesting set of announcements and presentations pretty soon like in a matter of weeks, I think, about our plans for DC. And basically if you look across the title of the whole band of hits whether its Batman, The Dark Knight, Green Lantern coming up, Superman, there have been a huge number of franchised films that have been part of the Warner [tent pole] strategy that's been the reason for Warner's unparallel high and consistent earnings advantage over the other studios and DC has already been a part of that and we are now going to outline an even more expansive plan for that in the coming months.
[You'll] hear more about our plans to mine more aggressively the deep catalogue of DC Comics characters across Warner Brothers' theatrical, home video, TV and games divisions and across our other divisions as well.
That looks like lots of fun. It's got the whole cool Ocean's Eleven vibe though that may just be because they used that same song at the beginning.
I really like the cast though. And they even kept that awesome sniper scene from the comic. Cool.
Indeed I am.
"Lunch with no clean-up? Can life get any better than this?"
The Losers has been moved to release on June 4th instead of April 9th, with WB wanting it to go head-to-head with "The A-Team" that comes out a week later.
Reported by Robot 6 yesterday.
Finally saw From Hell tonight. I thought it was really good although a little confusing in some parts. It came together in the end though.
Now I need to read the GN that's been in my "to read" list for over a year.
What little I saw of that movie was bad.
The comic is a masterpiece.
The film condenses or ignores much of the novel's discussion of the supernatural and occult. The novel makes no mystery of Jack's identity, concentrating instead on the psychology of the character and of the era, while the film is a whodunit mystery.
