Star Wars Canon Expanded Universe - Timeline - Reading Order

Oh come on mate, there's no need to be like that. The park features multiple canonical stories in the form of its rides and shows, and is set at a specific point in time between episodes 8 and 9 :)
I actually did not know that. I figured it was just a generic Star Wars land.

Finally caught up with reading through the High Republic books and comics, and so have reorganised that era's material into a far more sensible order than the old Wookieepedia-based one. Really enjoying it and looking forward to the next wave of content!

I really think the format of this timeline needs broken up into days/time-stamps like the MCU list. It would make it easier to understand how TCW and Bad Batch fit into Episode III, as well as how Resistance ties into TFA and TLJ.

That's not really my intention with this timeline, it's just meant to be a viewing/reading order since I couldn't find any others online that worked properly for that purpose :) Anyone else is more than welcome to do a date/timed version! Sounds pretty tricky though, considering it's all on different planets, in and out of hyperspace, etc.

Hello Sir, first off thank you for all of your time and effort in putting this timeline together. I really appreciate it. I use to go by wookiepedia, but I dislike that they put the books in order of the start of the timeline instead of the end, which makes your list perfect. My question is, I am thinking about starting from the beginning and reading the canon and legend books in chronological order. Do you know anyone who has a chronological order of the legend timeline like you have done with the Canon. Thanks in advance.

https://mythbank.com/star-wars-legends-timeline/ This is a pretty good list that arranges everything Legends in the way you want it I'm pretty sure.

I don't personally know a legends list, but it sounds very complicated and contradict-y to try and smoosh them together into one read through as they go in totally different directions! My personal preference would be to do them as separate read throughs, legends first and then canon, but obviously do whatever seems the most fun! :)

Updated with all the latest stuff! And if you're reading this timeline, but you're not watching The Book of Boba Fett, you absolutely should be.
Definitley, because man...
Mando is back, hell yeah!!

If you think that's big, you should see 1x06.
Luke, Ashoka, R2-D2 and Cad Bane!?! Woah.

I mean, it doesn't remotely make sense to be part of the Boba Fett Show, of all things. But at this point I'm just treating it as a general Star Wars Show, and it's wonderful - especially for those of us who obsess over the extended canon. I mean, they even had a line this week about Cobb Vanth's village being renamed Freetown to match its appearance in Aftermath. And Cad Bane! Man, he's scary.
