And on a South Park related note....the new season, despite it only being 2 episodes in, isn't exactly impressing me.

I mean while it's been disappointing....it's still leagues funnier than its other primetime/late night competitors like "The Simpsons".
The new season of Simpsons have been painfully unfunny. So much to the point where I wish the show would be cancelled already and put out of it's misery. Yet South Park just has off episodes and normally makes up for it later.

I disagree with this , I can respect your opinion on it as hell we all have diffrent tastes.
This however is how I see it , The last episode of south park was almost at the same level as "Family Guy" on the unfunny meteor. It reminded me too much of the years I hated the show.
I loved season 1-4 then stopped only started actually enjoying it again with this season but the last one was just off. The one before it was great however.
Simpsons in my opinion is still the funniest of these animated comedies and though I love this season it is suffering a bit. However I think this is due to having worked on the film.
Let me explain. Take south park. Same thing happened when they worked on the film. Their episodes suffered that were done around the same time. I think this due to pressure to make the films better than the show and so use most of the writers best ideas around the time.
However much I love the simpsons I was still enjoying the current south park. That said I honestly think next year when it returns Futurama will retake it's crown as the best.
But lets hope nect weeks south park is better as I'm a fan of both at the moment so I don't want one to better than the other I just want to enjoy them both.

SOUTH PARK some times goes a little too left field and bizarre and so it doesn't gel, but as far as I can tell - the quality is the same as it's always been (which is great and rare).
That said, I thought the Tourette's episode was hysterical, and Holy Crap was very funny in parts.
