I actually forgot it was still being printed before the last issue came out. That's the most telling critique I can give to Whedon's run on the book. 6 issues that were so mediocre, forgettable, and ridiculously late that I forgot one of my favorite series existed. Honestly, it would have been better for the Runaways to go on hiatus like Young Avengers did.
I was really excited when he took over the book. Then the delays started and the storyline sputtered and went nowhere slowly. I still like Whedon as a writer, but I will NEVER be that happy to see his name attached to a series again.
That said, I really want to give Moore a chance. And although I find the preview art that I've seen from Ramos to be hideous, I didn't hate his work on X-Men. So I'm just going to pretend Joss never touched my beloved Runaways, ignore the crappy new character he's added to the team, and try to enjoy these characters that I used to adore.
