Yes they do.

I know this as I was using third party Game cube pad when I had my Wii the first time , I bought the third party one as It was white so it matched my Wii (i'm a sucker for doing that)

And I had mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 virtual console games and it worked perfect. Though if you getting a snes or nes or something say Super Mario world (yes I had that one too :lol: ) They work but Classic pad is best due to where buttons are on it.


So yeah Game Cube 3rd party pads work , Use it on N64 games.
Classic control pad use for all others

Cheers. I was also going to get a white one so it matched. :)

I'll probably get a Classic Controller later on for the SNES games and so I can have all controllers for SSBB.

I just had an epic auction with another user for Warioware: Smooth Moves. Decided to let him have it after it went a couple of dollars over what my maximum was... that and the fact that there's also one which has a cheaper buy now and is in better condition. :D

My brother got a Wii for Chanukkah yesterday.

My parents made me set it up. A half hour of my life I can never get back.






I'll still probably end up playing it.

I tried Super Mario Galaxy out at a friend's house

Brought back nightmares of Super MArio 64 and how that ruled my life and I never got everything.

I put the controller down, and walked away

My girlfriend is giving me my wii for christmas , TODAY! She just managed to get one in stock in her shop today and so is bringing it here tonight for me:D

My brother is going to town today so I gave him my "game" card and said pick up Mario Galaxy and some Wii pionts

Update : My brother just phoned Everywhere is sold out of Mario Galaxy damn it! he's trying a couple of other places before he gives up but :( damn it.

really trying to get a wii, but it's so hard. that's what she said. so i went to wiialerts.com and the second there are some available they send me a text msg and an email and all i have to do is be there before they sell out. now to get some money...

Yeah they were sold out here , I was lucky my girlfriend works at a video game shop so the second they get some she can put one aside before it's even gone out on shop floor , plus she bought it me too so doublely lucky
