hello, I am currently working on this project: I am making a replica of the denton affair-- The Dossier from the movie the Rocky Horror Picture show, which is essentially this scrapbook of documents/evidence/materials relating to the story. We have been sourcing images from the book and scanning them to get the best quality to make it as accurate as we can. But were lost on the source of one of the images.
on of the images were looking for is a comic page from what looks like a romance comic-- it features people embracing each other and kissing, your typical subject matter you would see in a romance comic.
the movie started production in October 1974, so 1950-74 would most likely be the time frame of when it would of been released. the comic was printed in black and white, which should be helpful in narrowing the search down, since most of the romance comics I have seen are printed in color. if there were reprints of romance comics without color I wouldn't have knowledge.
so I am hoping you guys would have insight to which comics I could look into, or maybe an artist that worked in romance black and white printed comics. anything that would help would be immensely helpful with our search.
