He keeps introducing old fighters from the past and having them fight people we've never seen before.

It is stupid.

The fights are awesome. It's expanding the naruto universe. Houde's just getting to that age where everything that isn't a werther's original is stupid.

Naruto is now apparently no longer about ninjas, but about giant monsters fighting each other.
I want to go back to the ninja trials from the first book.
