Movies that make you cry

movies i did cry? Let my think :???:
as a kid bambi and a Forrest gump
but truly crying rivers had done only one movie : pom poko
 
For me as a kid it was Mufasas death scene in Lion King that always made me cry.

Love Actually usually makes me tear up a bit, that movie just gets to me.
But the movie that really got to me was Lilja 4-Ever. That made me cry half and hour and left me depressed for like a week. ****, that movie is a downer.

Oh I can definitely see that. I just watched Lion King a week ago, and I think the scene that would come closest to making me tear up would be at the very end when Pride Rock is restored and Simba/Nala welcome their cub in the same fashion as Simba's ceremony.

Just the visual manifestation of the Circle of Life was a great scene.

That came out a lot gayer than it sounded in my head.
 
Don't think I've ever wanted to tear up during Love Actually. The scene that gets me most is when Keira Knightley's character realizes that the guy likes her and he just has to leave! I've been there before and it's a tough scene to watch.

Plus you add Dido to the mix and it's a touching scene.

the scene where he explains his parents in law his behavoir after 9/11
(and thew only one I also had to laugh it'simultaniously sad and hilarious)
 
Watching The Road with my dad almost made me cry.

because of that movie i had a DNR form made at age 22, if after 2 weeks a machine is keeping me alive, let me die.

is that what the movie was about? i thought it was adopt a big black child so he can make u lots and lots of money.
 
I just saw The Lovely Bones and cried numerous times. :cry::cry: The first time was when
Marky Mark looks at all of the ship-in-a-bottles he made with his daughter. And I got chills at this one part where Suzie looks up and it's supposed to be heaven; you can see the mountains reflecting off the water....just beautiful
. The movie wasn't perfect, it had its faults, but it was still a damn sad movie. I wasn't totally satisfied with the ending.
 
You will note that I have not responded to this thread. This is because I do not cry. Ever. I especially didn't cry when Mufasa died. No sir. And Wall•E didn't make me blubber at the end. Nu-uh. And The Bridges of Madison County so didn't um excusemeihavesomethinginmyeye
