Mmmmmmm....Turkey!

Because of various scheduling issues, we had our big family dinner last Saturday. So today we just stayed home for Thanksgiving.

Our Menu:

Turkey
Stuffing
Yams
Green Beans
Corn Casserole
and
Pumpkin Praline Cheesecake (Which I have yet to try).

Mmm. I give thanks for obesity.
To avoid the awkwardness of last year....I have decided never to go to anyone's place for Thanksgiving unless I am dating someone in that family.

And although me and Bacon-N-Eggs Betty are officially bf/gf......we are not at that point in the relationship where it's time to meet each other's families.

So I'm spending Thanksgiving solo. Me and the Captain had breakfast.....and we've already eaten our Thanksgiving dinner feast:

AN ENTIRE CRAVE CASE FROM WHITE CASTLE!

That's right. 20 cheeseburgers. And large cheese fries. With a large diet coke.

*teh jealous*

I refused to go to my families one year because they were jackasses.

I said home in my first apartment on my own, made enchiladas, and played MGS3.

It was awesome.

.......and for Christmas I'm gonna sit there and watch all of "Heroes: Season 1" while eating an assortment of cookies for dinner.

Being a grown up is awesome.

I am so jealous. I said in the food thread - I do not like "home cooking". I never have; I just don't have the taste for that kind of food. I'm much happier with a PB&J or a bowl of cereal.

Maybe I will do the same as Doom.

Granted that I just picked up the Heroes season and need to watch it sometime.

But I might opt to watch Lost Season 3 instead.

*falls out of bed after recovering from a turkey coma*

Okay I have a month to redevelop a taste for turkey...

yesterday's weight: 139lbs

today's: 141lbs

*dies*

I need some crunch berries....

Mmmmmmm.... Thanksgiving leftovers.

That's what's great about the night after Thanksgiving: there's no time wasted figuring out what you're going to have for dinner.
