The present Is Always the present, so next year Will be 2024, for having the date of the fantastic fuor origins you have to do this:

2023 (present year) - 15 (the years that passed, year 16 doesn't count cos It didn't end yet).

16 years IS the true span of time for Marvel's 616. But it's not the same way as the real world.

Anyway, what you Say in the second paragraph Is 100% correct.

There's a canon 9/11 event on Earth-616.
Unless the circumstances are wildly different or the 8th Cosmos' Multiverse (post-Secret Wars 2015) heavily altered that, I don't know.

That's another example that some Marvel writer thinks that the marvel time doesn't exist.

You think Golden Age is tedious: wait until you cover all the Conan lore canon to Earth-616. Thats like 1000 stories on the distant past - but MUCH of that is the foundation for much of Marvel's lore; like Vampires and magic.

Don't forget the western too. For Conan I Will probably use some Reading order I found online.

There's around 573 Conan stories set in the distant past, to be specific. There's reading orders out there you can find via a quick Google search.

Anyway for new marvel fans, don't underestimate Conan. He Is literally the only Person in the entire Multiverse that Kang the Conqueror fear and avoid fighting.

I don't recall any exact years given in the Conan era of Earth-616, but if need be, just go with circa. (or c.) 10,000 BC for any of the stories within Conan's lifetime.

Don't forget: circa. (which means "approximately")

so "c. 18,500 BCE" and "c. 10,000 BCE".

As far as I know, there's never exact years in those time periods given, it's just a general era for both storylines in the lore.
