seriously, what the crap is up with the gorilla!?

EDIT: oh, so i guess it's Gorilla Man from Agents of Atlas.
I've never heard of him before.

Me either.

You both need to familiarizes yourselves with the Agents of Atlas

so i read the wikipedia article. Interesting concept. Forgotten characters from Atlas Comics (Marvel's predecessor) are retconned into a team from the 50s and then brought back into the mainstream Marvel U today.

Stuff like that is cool, but I don't think Bendis should bring those characters into the Avengers. If only because he's going to misuse and abuse them and never do anything interesting with them much like he did with the Sentry and the Hood.

Actually they were all a part of a team in a "What If" issue (What if the Avengers had been formed in the 50's?) along with 3-D Man, Jeff Parker just ran with the concept and tweaked it into the awesomeness that is Agents of Atlas.

So I read a post on another site that said Hawkeye's left arm looks bionic, like Bucky-bionic, in the original promo and the Hitch promo and now I totally see it. Clint might not be an Avenger after all.

I just thought it's an arm guard, like what archers wear to protect their arm from the arrow. Plus right here:
You see Bucky's cap right next to him

Other people are pointing out that the Cap in the previews has blue eyes, like Steve. Bucky has brown eyes.

i don't think it's true though.

I don't get what happened to Punisher. I've got a virtual stack of books to read but I don't know what's what. I read all of Ennis's Punisher MAX. Then there were two arcs, each by different writers. Is that now called Frank Castle: The Punisher? And there is a separate, non-MAX series that's called The Punisher?

Do we have threads for each of these books? I don't know who is on them and I don't want to be spoiled by opening them.

A bunch of crime novelists took over Punisher MAX after Ennis left and wrote it until #75. It was recently relaunched with a new #1 by Jason Aaron and Steve Dillon.

The other Punisher title is the one set in 616 - it is currently by Rick Remender and Tony Moore and has Frankencastle.

I hate the first Luke Cage What If.....but I totally approve of the second one. OOOOW! Hey Sexy Mamma...Doom loves his Chocolate Sistas! :heybaby:
