They mean that episode 1 is literally set before Agatha. They aren't talking about flashbacks. Anyway, technically that Fitz episode should be between episode 3 and 4 to match the 2091 timeline.

Then shoudnt be What If 2x04 episode listed before finale of Season 1, as it is introduction of Gamora before she fights Ultron in 1x09? (and it was meant originally to be part of S1)
 
October 27, 2025 - Prologue/Foggy's death.

October 1, 2026 - Fisk talks to Vanessa about his mayor candidature.

October 2, 2026 - Bullseye's sentencing. Fisk announces his candidature.

October 23, 2026 - Fisk talks with his mayoral staff. Fisk meets Daniel Blake. Matt meets Heather. NY mayor debate.

October 24, 2026 - Matt and Fisk talk in diner.

October 30, 2026 - Matt and Heather go in a date. Fisk wins recall election.

December 31, 2026 - New Years Celebration. Hector is arrested.

January 6, 2027 - Fiorello La Guardia. Matt meets Hector, pothole, Matt convinces Kirsten of Hector. Matt and Kirsten questioned about taking Hector's case.

January 7, 2027 - Hector's arraignment, BB meets Fisk. Buck approaches Heather. Shanahan's funeral. Kirsten talks to Soledad, Matt and Heather vacation fantasy. Hector admits to being White Tiger.

January 8, 2027 - Fisk threatens Gallo, White Tiger information suppressed. Cherry suspects Hector case is personal, Matt stands outside a church, Matt follows Powell, Heather meets the Fisks, rescue of Nicky.

So based on this, the 1x1 prologue take place before Werewolf By Night, 1x1 (without prologue) take place before Secret Invasion, then 1x2 is after Agatha All Along and before BNW.

I dunno, it doesn't feel like it's the day after Matt first meets Hector that they find out he's White Tiger, sounds like they talked offscreen between these two scenes

I would say December 2026 for episode 1's present day because
Commisioner Gallo said he wants Fisk's time as mayor to be less than a month.

1x1's present day is in October 2026, almost a year after Foggy's death, which i put in October 27, 2025. In 1x2, we see a New Year Celebration, which is December 31. Fisk wins recall election in October 30, 2026. It doesn't look like December, when Fisk wins the election.

Heather's book signing in E2 has that it's on Tuesday in the poster. I'm thinking the timeline for the episode is.
December 31st- Fisk's speech, Shanahan killed, Hector's arrest.
January 5th- Fisk in his office, Matt meets Hector, Fisk and the pothole, Matt convinces Kirsten to take the case, Hector's arraignment, BB interviews Fisk, Heather's book signing. Poster confirms Tuesday and everyone wears the same clothes throughout these scenes confirming it's all on the same day.
January 6th- Shanahan funeral, Kirsten talks to Hector's wife, Cherry finds out Hector is White Tiger, Matt and Heather's date, Matt confronts Hector.
January 7th- Fisk threatens Gallo, Matt tries to withhold White Tiger evidence from the case.
January 8th- Matt meets with Cherry to discuss Hector, Matt passes the church, Matt follows Powell, Heather meets with the Fisks (Fisk and Matt are both wearing different clothes from the scenes that are on the 7th), Matt saves Nicky.
