Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

W finale, W series. So glad we're getting 2 more, they had the right idea

• Otto saying "The die is cast" made me smile

• Scorpion beat Peter so bad his Spider-Sense started working

• Super Soldier Lonnie! I'm headcanoning that he got his powers from a gaseous version of the Super Soldier Serum but without radiation to stabilize it (which'll lead to him getting the iconic Tombstone skin akin to Red Skull getting his…red skull)

• Unmf I shoulda held off Carmilla for him, I could take her

• Spidey locked tf in and showed Scorpion what a real Crawler Assault looked like

• I thought Nico lifted her pendant on instinct but her "No more secrets" has me thinking she either already knows magic/knows of her magic heritage

• I theorized Norman trying to replicate Spidey's power around episode 2. Funny how he left out the woman fated to get animal powers

• Project Monolith, opening gateways to outer space, Agents of SHIELDbros are we being given the signal to rise up against our oppressors???

• Strange switching off the guard's mind was cool, Strange sending Venom's Uncle to the Dark Dimension made me giddy, and them going back in time made me explode

• All the bums whining about Peter having a multiverse origin have been btfo and I was right all along lmao. I'll flex my day away with pride. It's awesome that Peter being a hero with powers led to him being a hero without powers which led to him being a hero with powers

• Based Watcher cameo

• Interesting that Harry started W.E.B. instead of Tony like in the Theme Park Universe

• Sweetie Jeanne was finessing all along for Daredevil, I was wondering if her peaking would go anywhere

• Lonnie is becoming a yn, he's literally throwing away his future…he's tombing up

• Wait wtf my wife Tina died?! I was 100% expecting it to be Amy

• JOSH KEATON IS RICHARD PARKER WTF

on the other topic, the glaze this show is getting is way too overblown and I'm not afraid to say it right here and then

it's not some revolutionary thing that's going to blow everyone's minds, it's the same repeated formula with the same high school peter parker but this time in little goblin jr garb instead of the iron boy jr one

people are asking for an ADULT spider-man, one with a family to take care of while at the same time protecting the city from criminals

i don't want to watch the show that not only focuses WAY too much on non-spidey cast, but has extremely choppy animation and i still have that taste of hudson thames' allergy to wokeness on my tongue that only worsens things

until they renew spectacular, I'll be better off just staying away from this show as much as possible

No. If anything the hate the show gets is forced and overblown. Calling it the same formula is incredibly reductive and hating to hate, especially when it has the most fleshed out cast of any Spider-Man show to date (it's biggest strength)

I don't know why you brought up people wanting an Adult Spider-Man show with a family if you were just going to circle back to wanting more Spectacular. I'll admit that I'm probably leaping here, but it doesn't sound like you ever had any intention of giving the show a fair shot and you're pushing back against those that did now that it's succeeding.

I say all this as a professional Spectacular/90's TAS throater. I'd still rank those just above YFN Spider-Man, and I can do that without diminishing the new great thing

Greg Weisman originally planned to make TV movies detailing Peter's life in college and his eventual marriage to Mary Jane
THAT would've made it even better

no offense, but this shows the smallness of your opinion. your rating of this series is closely tied to your affection for Spectacular Spider-Man... You can let go. Greg Weisman won't get another opportunity. You clearly haven't watched the series (and if you did it was with a ham over your eyes), so in this Thread dedicated to the timeline your "complaint" is not necessary

Spectacular would've still had Peter in high school for 39 more episodes (Weisman said he wanted Peter's run in high school to last 65 episodes + it had 13 ep seasons = 5 seasons of high school Parker) before reaching the college TV movies/marriage.

If I caught people bitching about GOATacular Spider-Man still being in high school they'd catch a Maximum Spider

So at this point Dr Strange is still in training right?
I like they hinted that the Time Stone can directly affect the timeline without branching. That was a niche unanswered question for years, since Endgame.
We've seen multiple effects from time travel when used by different sources and Mordo lists them all in reference to the Time Stone, so even if unintentional it's nice to see some of that consistency here with the Time Stone being the ultimate form of time tampering.

Given the Cloak of Levitation and him wielding the Eye of Agamotto it's probably safer to say that Strange finished his training ahead of schedule in this timeline

Agreed. I wasn't sold on the series at first, but now, I think it's easily top three Spider-Man shows for me.
