Definitely isn't Marvel's intention. Especially because YFNSM Peter was originally going to be Sacred Timeline Peter. Just seems unlikely to me.

I rather they just let the show do its thing and tell its story freely without shenanigans like that muddling everything. Making it the "main" version would just take away most of the freedom and potential it could have

I think he's implying that it and the MCU's Spider-Man history will combine, not that it literally will take place in the MCU after a reset. In any case, I'm not entirely sure there will be a reset. At least an extensive one.

For Secret Wars, would you rather have variants of MCU characters (Superior Ironman, Maestro, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Spider Man Miles Morales, The Maker, etc)

or

characters from non MCU live action Marvel movies (Wesly Snipes Blade, Elektra, 2005 FF, Man Thing, Peter 2, Peter 3, Nic Cage Ghost Rider, Ang Lee Hulk, etc etc).
