I think there's no need to doubt it. Until it comes out, I maintain a neutral stance. Oh, and The Last of Us Part 2? You can always jump off a cliff as Abby over and over again to make yourself feel better about the story.View attachment 3132
I'll just wait and see what people actually think first, rather than rely on critics. After all, IGN gave God Hand (an underrated PS2 title and a cult classic in the eyes of many gamers) a 3/10, yet sang the praises of The Last of Us 2 (overrated cinematic trash with a shittier zombie plot than 28 Weeks Later, plus Abby is fucking unbearable).
Oh, I don't think it's that bad. Even agreeing that it's not very funny to me, I think I'd rather watch a silly cartoon over a literal snuff film.I would put Rick & Morty and Smiling Friends on the same level as this (which I refuse to watch)

My hatred for those shows burn that deep.
There's weirdos who go out of their way to find real life gore footage online. I've been friends with a few, and in fairness, they are empathetic about it, also a bit ashamed. Still, I think it's quite screwed up to have an uncontrollable fascination with real life violence. Why would anyone watch those? What's wrong with people?
There's people who make memes about a suicide that was livesteamed on Facebook. In fact, I have to tell (different) friends to avoid making "I guess that's it" jokes because I find it disrespectful and not very funny.
So, there's a lot wrong with people unfortunately. I still maintain that all films that depict graphic violence through use of movie magic is completely fine though. There's something fun about violence in movies that isn't so fun when real people are suffering.
