Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

im pretty sure this is in 2018 after the snap, or maybe the avengers stopped thanos from snapping in this timeline causing the emergence in 2018, with beck knowing of stark unveiling barf at mit by this point and vision having been built but killed and mid-reassembly by sword

This was my favorite of the season and I liked the whiplash going from the last one to this one. I'd consider this on par with the Strange Supreme episode. These are the type of What Ifs I want

• White Vision mogging the Wong Squad was so awesome

• Riri's Iron Vision was cool but I was hoping she'd fight with it more

• Alejandro Saab as Mysterio was amazing and exactly why I'd prefer more professional voice actors over the live action ones (in most cases)

• I take it the Emergence happened in 2018 in a world where the Snap never happened (years before the Eternals reunite)

• Watcher being a doomer before inspiring Riri to fight gave me chills, and I loved her using the Avengers logo to inspire hope bc she knows that's the easiest way to let the what's left of the world know they've won

• Watcher's interference is catching up with him fr

• Did Riri kill the resistance while under the illusion??? Or were they already dying and she just stood there bc of the illusion

• Would have been nice to see the Eternals but their absence makes sense given how Emergences/resets were described

Obviously this episode takes place in Earth-17516, and Graviton freed Tiamut early after absorbing Quake. :p

This is a joke, if anyone can't tell. Still, imagine this from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s perspective.

Now watching the comedic stylings and logical impossibility of today's episode.

EDIT: I don't buy this "If Tiamut got out" plot. If this happened, let's be honest, it's every person for themselves in the hopeless aftermath.
It would be the bleakest of version of Mad Max or Violence Jack OVA. Just mass chaos, killings, etc going on in what remained. Human devolving back to it's most primal traits cause nothing would matter at that point.

But that's not the Marvel way of doing things, obivously.

EDIT2: Okay that 3rd act of the episode was solid.
Friendly reminder that Violence Jack was also a stealth sequel to the Devilman series due to Jack being an amnesiac Akira Fudo (the protagonist of Devilman)

one thing i worked out from the new ep
the mcu wiki estimates riri to be born between 2000 and 2006, yet in the new ep which seems to be 2018 she's fully grown, which makes it likely she was born in 2000

interesting… maybe she was snapped? could she have been 24 in wakanda forever? i definitely thought she was closer to 19 in that

if she was born somewhere between june and december 2000, she would have been 17 during infinity war, meaning if she was snapped she would be 19 in wf (or she didnt and shes 24 in that, which seems less likely to me), and
having just turned 18 in this episode

This was a very solid episode and one of my favorites in the whole series. I was initially skeptical over this being more of an Elseworld than a What If but the glimpses at the "What the Hells" sold me on it

• Bringing back Sonny Burch was kinda cool (his watch/hypnosis that he picked up in Russia reminded me a lot of Johann Fennhoff from Agent Carter)

• Loved seeing Shang-Chi and Kate Bishop

• Was curious how they'd introduce Hood before Ironheart but once I saw them going band for band with Shang-Chi I put together that it was probably Xialing or Wenwu

• Using Ten Rings of a bell to call Shang-Chi is cool

• Kate Bishop is so hot. She had me howling and slobbering without a full moon good lord. Fumbling someone like Kate would have deleterious effects on my lifespan

• Ofc the Shang-Chi episode had some of the best fighting

• Kate turning Xialing holier than a Bible really shocked me

• Watcher has been getting too bold with the interference

• "That kid has some Iron Fists on him" made my jaw drop and I laughed bc I thought of the Fan4stic meme

• So the farther reaches of the multiverse is where the more outlandish Elseworld type universes are rather than one decision having a cascading effect. So if there was a universe where everyone were Dinosaurs or Mickey Mouse characters characters they'd be here (surely there's nothing like that guys haha…)
