Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

when this was announced i was sorta hoping it actually is a comics version of her but actually traveled in the present for some reason

What is the punishment for Watchers who interfere? Death?

Also I guess the Celestials and Watchers work in unison under a purpose greater than themselves.

Yep, I was right, Storm really is from the Watcher episode
And it seems she's the 90s X-Men show version judging from the theme song playing

Imagine we get Uatu saying "I need to call upon a force from the outer reaches of the multiverse in this time of need" as to not classify Earth-92131 as an MCU adjacent branch.

From what I can infer from the brief reads on the wiki pages, the other Watchers just force them to watch one specific timeline for all eternity

Pretty sure they'll designate it as something corny like Earth-97 or something

found this pretty meh tbh, once again we can only assume the divergent point would need to have happened in the 70s if the public knew of the avengers to the point of making an in-universe cartoon about them; otherwise i guess we can place the start at 2014 with the on your left scene, then the "10 years later" could be 2024-2025 depending on how long the initial gamma war lasted

i wish we would have gotten an explanation for where some other characters were besides the og 6 avengers who died at the start, for example yelena, rhodey, black panther, any cosmic characters like carol or the eternals (i guess we can assume any characters with an origin that occurred later than the winter soldier like spider-man, dr strange, ant-man and wasp were killed as civilians but these other characters should have been established by this point)

also wish they would have delved into the more comic-accurate aspect of the one below all, i know its a lot for a 20 minute episode but i dont really see the, ever exploring that in a mainline film at this point so why not

Strong start to the season imo. Biggest gripes are that I wish there was more mech action and I wish the whole episode was animated like Go Avenger: Heroes of the Gamma War

And I just read a review of the season (surprisingly positive) and yall this Howard episode might actually be peak inbound

Here is what I have so far in terms of What if S03
(No Spoilers included)

What If...? S03E06 (1872)

What If...? S03E02 (1947?)

What If...? S03E03 (1991) (cut s02 episode)

What If...? S03E04 (2010+?)

What If...? S03E01 (Early 2024)

What If...? S03E05 (2023/2024/2025?)

What If...? S03E07 - S03E08

Was wondering where to put in Watch order for season 3 and kinda rethinking Season 2's placement after Season 1.

I expected What If Agatha went to Hollywood to be one of the worst episodes and this might be one of my favorite episodes period bruh

• Classical Hollywood aesthetic with the intro, outro, and her absorbing Tiamat (he just can't catch a break)

• Focuses on 2 Phase 4 characters

• An awesome blend of the magic and cosmic sides of MCU

• Remembering the Eternals exist

• Agatha being Kro but hot

• Seeing Arishem again and even him in action

• It mogs the last one and this is the type of stuff I want out of What If. I thought it was a nice touch that Watcher's narration mirrored the text in the opening of Eternals

Did it have any cheesy musical numbers?
This was my biggest worry but it's a dance sequence rather than singing. Even then I was initially very hesitant and was prepared to check out until it was over but the fight aspect and story developments kept me engaged (not a spoiler bc this was in trailers)

I'd probably just place S3 in its entirety at the latest point in the season to keep up with the Watcher.
I'm personally placing it after Agatha All Along. It feels like we're meant to view these multiversal projects from the TVA/Watcher's POV. Which is how you get D&W around 2026 projects even though it takes place mainly in 2024.

It's 2024 in an alternate universe, obviously the flow of time is different there
Besides, Deadpool only visited the MCU in the year he was in as well and the TVA can go to any point in time
