Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Marvel Podcast:

__What If Season 3__
• It was just rehashing things from the Assembled episode, I nearly crashed out. They don't even talk about Season 3 fr

__TVA Miniseries (9:00)__
• 5 issue miniseries

• 12:50 asks about how the comic connects to the MCU. Blair mentions that the MCU took the comic TVA, fleshed it out, and are now taking the MCU TVA and putting it back in the comic space where it originated (still calls it comic centric, that it's her comic interpretation of what's happening after Loki's sacrifice, and calls it a new comic iteration of the TVA). She calls it a funny in-between awesome space. Make of this what you will

• 14:02 asks who we can expect to see. Blair says Mobius, OB, Casey, B-15, Miss Minutes, and explains some of the new characters. She cites the new characters as people without a timeline to return to that decided to stay at the TVA and protect other timelines. It sounds like she's directly linking it to the mass pruning of timelines in Loki Season 2 (watch for yourself to hear the wording). Blair says the team is trying to honor Loki's sacrifice and references B-15 in D&W having her own office. She says Captain Carter is one of the leaders of the team but it's unclear if it's the MCU version or the Comic version of her.

• 16:20 asking about the other clocks. The new clocks are introduced as a system of checks/balances bc of Miss Minutes going homicidal. Doc Clock works in the Medbay and Sir Seconds is head of security (cites that it's to prevent another situation like the rogue agents bombing timelines)

The final section they talk about Red Hulk hands and I don't feel like watching it all

Not that I'm a Canon Denier in the slightest (I'm Canon's Mightiest Hero) but I wouldn't use her originally being from LA as support for it. It's just a reference to the source material

Awesome theory about Nico's divergence being the death of Amy tho. Hoping it's never contradicted
Amy's death is what made Nico go goth too.

Just read the first issue of the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man prelude and I think it's off to a good start. Definitely looking forward to the series

Some things of note + my thoughts (technically aren't spoilers but I'll tag it out of courtesy):

• Peter thugging out the Spider-Bite instead of going to the hospital is hilarious

• The Avengers are already an established group

• Ben dying before Peter gets the bite is an interesting decision. Maybe instead of Ben dying bc of Peter's inaction there'll be a moment where Peter's powers go to his head and he has a flashback of Ben dying to save someone and teaching Peter the generational lesson

• Was iffy about Nico but this kinda sold me on her a bit more. I like that Nico was originally from L.A. and is Susan O'Hara a 2099 reference?

• As much as I think the Iron Boy Jr. stuff is overblown for MCU Spidey I'm glad he looked to his poster of Cap instead

• So no Midtown High. Whatever their new school is will probably be someplace for rich kids/prodigies and if I had to bet it's bankrolled by Norman

• Looking forward to more Silvio, Enforcers, and Man Mountain Marko
Agreed, it was a real fun read

Alright the timeline has finally been updated with Deadpool & Wolverine. I'm so sorry about the ridiculous delay life has been stupid. Big thank you to Selfishmisery for this, thanks to him I was able to easily know where the Chapters began and ended and to be completely honest i just copied and pasted the Wolverine montage over from his timeline of the X-Men Universe cause I do not have the time tonight to do all that tonight. I was rushing tonight to finally get this in so hopefully the job isn't too sloppy and I didn't make any stupid mistakes, if anyone notices any errors please let me know asap. Thank you and apologies again.
Blind Al says their rent is due in 3 days. Rent is usually due by the 1st of each month, so maybe the movie starts on October 29?

Yeah if no one has and issue with that dating I can make that change. Do any days pass from that point onwards or would it all be the 29th? I don't recall the details of the film that precisely lol

It works. Deadpool is a Scorpio and it aligns with it well.

I seem to understand its the same day.

He gets taken by the TVA that night, and Paradox tells him his timeline will be erased in 72 hours, so the movie would end by November 1.

I doubt it goes into detail so if people want to headcanon that they can, but I don't think Marvel Studios is specifically considering anything when it comes to the character's history from the show.

Also, someone let me know if it confirms my theory that comic TVA and MCU TVA integrated as one unit after Loki season two.
The She-Hulk issue had almost all of the staff get erased from existence, and they were basically Mark Gruenwald clones.
Maybe that's what prompted them to recruit Variants once they acknowledged the clone purge?

Maybe the comic TVA history played out in full almost, then MCU's He Who Remains rebooted the TVA so Loki S1-2 happened, then new TVA appearances in the comics take place after S2 but before Mobius leaves, and now the TVA comic is set fully after Loki S2. Jesus, that sounds complicated. Like trying to track Barry Allen's timeline after his death in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

I guess that was the end of the TVA until He Who Remains popped up.

Weren't there elements of the Avengers Forever (1999) comic run that might have had some influence on Loki show, specifically HWR?

Episode list for What If Season 3

Not seeing a dedicated Worthy Storm episode…it's never been more over. I'm starting to understand why there's dorks that whine about What If, bc the titles really do have "What If the Joker was Orange" energy. If I didn't know any better reading a title like "What If Howard the Duck got hitched" would make me crashout icl. With all that being said I'm really looking forward to this season bros

Maybe she'll appear in "What if the Watcher disappeared" one
The trailer did say the characters will need assistance, presumably in finding him, and they'll go to some other universe to recruit the new Guardians of the Multiverse team and get Storm

Probably but the ideal was her having her own episode instead of Howard being the focus of a Thor episode's sequel…

I wonder what episode Ironheart and Mysterio fit in? Or White Vision for that matter? Maybe the Convergence one

Which episode has Thanos and all the alien races running? I'm thinking either the Gamma War one or the Howard one

Honestly, both that AND the Agatha episode sound like filler episodes that could've been scrapped in favour of better episodes.

Like, I wanted to see a "What If Iron-Man fought the REAL Mandarin?" or "Zemo assembled the Masters of Evil?", not unnecessary crap like... HOWARD THE FUCKING DUCK GETTING MARRIED!! :(
